When using the Adobe Acrobat PDF printer you may receive an error of Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: xshow

To fix that problem go into Control Panel, Devices and Printers

Right click the Adobe PDF printer and choose Printer properties
Advanced tab, click Printing Defaults

Uncheck the Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts
Click Apply
Click OK
Click OK again

Try printing to the Adobe PDF printer, problem should be gone.
