Adobe Reader DC
Reader DC – Current Version 24.005.20320 – released December 10, 2024
macOS 10.14.x – macOS 15.x
For older versions of macOS you can download Reader DC from

You can check the version in Application folder click Adobe Reader DC then press ⌘i to see the version.
If you have any version of Adobe Reader DC download the update from
https://ardownload2.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/mac/AcrobatDC/2400520320/AcroRdrDCUpd2400520320_MUI.dmg
Double click AcroRdrDCUpd2400520320_MUI.dmg file in your Download folder, then double click the AcroRdrDCUpd2400520320.pkg file to install the update.
Update can also be installed by opening Adobe Reader, choosing Help, Check for Updates.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware formerly known as AdwareMedic

You can check the version in Application folder click Malwarebytes Anti-Malware then press ⌘i to see the version

Double click the MBAM-Mac-5.4.1.xxxx.pkg file then double click the Malwarebytes application to use the tool to check for Adware and Malware on your Mac.
Malwarebytes 5.x works on macOS 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
Malwarebytes 4.21 works on macOS 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, 10.15
Updates can be installed by opening Malwarebytes, click Malwarebytes menu and choose Check for Updates.
FileZilla
Current Version 3.68.1 – released November 4, 2024
You can check the version in Application folder click FileZilla then press ⌘i to see the version.

Double click the FileZilla_3.68.1_macosx-**.app.tar.bz2 file in your Download folder to decompress the file FileZilla drag FileZilla to your Application folder to install the program, if prompted about replacing file choose Yes.
Firefox
Current Version 133.0.3 – released December 10, 2024
You can check the version in Application folder click Firefox then press ⌘i to see the version.

Double click the Firefox 133.0.3.dmg file in your Download folder, then drag the Firefox icon on top of the folder to the right of the Firefox icon to install the update. If prompted about replacing the old file choose Yes. Firefox 115.18.0 ESR will work on Mac OS 10.12 and later, and will be updated until March 2025. Firefox 78.15.0 works on Mac OS 10.9.x and later. Firefox 48.0.2 works on Mac OS 10.6.x and later.
You can also update Firefox by opening Firefox, click the Firefox menu and choose About Firefox.
Microsoft Edge
Current Version 131.0.2903.99 – released December 12, 2024
You can check the version in Application folder click Microsoft Edge then press ⌘i to see the version.
Download the latest version from:

Double click the MicrosoftEdge-131.0.2903.99.pkg file and follow the steps to install the browser. Edge 131.0.2903.99 works on macOS 11 and later. Edge 128.0.2739.79 works on macOS 10.15. Edge 116.0.1938.81 works on macOS 10.13 and 10.14.
You can also update Microsoft Edge by opening Microsoft Edge and click the Microsoft Edge menu, and choose About Microsoft Edge.
GIMP
Current Version 2.10.38 – released May 5, 2024
You can check the version in Application folder click GIMP 2.10 then press ⌘i to see the version.

Double click gimp-2.10.38-*.dmg then drag the GIMP 2.10 icon to your Application folder to install the update. If prompted about replacing the old file choose Yes. GIMP works on macOS 10.12 Sierra or later.
Google Chrome
Current Version 131.0.6778.140 – released December 10, 2024
You can check the version in Application folder click Google Chrome then press ⌘i to see the version.
Chrome 131.0.6778.140 requires macOS 11 or newer
128.0.6613.138 is the last version to support macOS 10.15
116.0.5845.187 is the last version to support macOS 10.13 or 10.14
103.0.5060.134 is the last version to support macOS 10.11 and 10.12
87.0.4280.114 is the last version to support macOS 10.10
67.0.3396.87 is the last version to support macOS 10.9.
Normally updates happen in the background when you close and reopen your browser. However, if you haven’t closed your browser in a while you might see the Chrome menu on the browser change colors to green 
, orange 
, or red 
. If you see green that means an update has been available for 2 days, orange – 4 days, and red – 7 or more days. To apply an available update, just follow the steps below.

- Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
- Select About Google Chrome. If there is a new version it will start to download.
- In the confirmation dialog that appears, click Restart. The browser saves your opened tabs and windows and reopens them automatically when it restarts. If you’d prefer not to restart right away, click Not now. The next time you restart your browser, the update will automatically be applied.

iTunes

You can check the version in Application folder click iTunes then press ⌘i to see the version.
Go into System Preferences, Software Update and click Check for Updates (versions previous to Mac OS 10.9) or App Store and click Show Updates.
Java 8
Current Version 1.8.0_431 – released October 15, 2024 – Mac OS 10.10 to Mac OS 15
Most Mac users do not have Java on their system. Java can be installed on Mac OS 10.7.3 or later.
You can check the version by going into System Preferences, Java, General Tab, click About
You can download the update from:
https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase-jre8-downloads.html (Mac OS 10.10 to 14)
Click Accept License Agreement at the top of the list of files then click jre-8u431-macos-x64.dmg. After the file has downloaded go into your Download folder then double click jre-8u431-macos-x64.dmg. Then double click the Java 8 Update 431 package file to begin the installation.
Or go into System Preferences, Java, Update tab and click Check for Update and follow the steps to update your copy of Java.
